Postcard from London

February 10, 2014

I’m back in #London , one of my favourite cities in the world. I arrived a few days ago and even though it has only been a few months since I was last here, I have really missed this city.
I always enjoy visiting London’s many galleries. This photo was taken at the #TateModern with its spectacular view of #StPaul’s Cathedral. One of the first things I always do when I arrive here is check out what exhibitions are on. Now days the Tate often has some good photography exhibitions, following the appointment of Simon Baker as its first curator of photography. At the moment it is showing some of #WilliamEggleston’s colourful and abstract photos of the American South. There is also a #HarryCallahan exhibition, highlighting his love of nature, buildings and people. Both did not disappoint and left me feeling inspired.
